Melrose Wins Battle Of The Raiders
Rey Guity was the headliner once again, but it took a team effort to put away Watertown for good.

MELROSE, MA — The Red Raiders of Melrose held home turf against the Raider of Watertown Friday night, winning 28-14 - their third straight victory to open the season.
Melrose scored 21 first-half points, including yet another touchdown run apiece from quarterback Charlie Stanton and running back Rey Guity. Guity, who ran for 156 yards in his third straight strong performance, iced the contest with a 79-yard TD run in the fourth.
The Melrose defense made sure the door stayed shut, forcing a turnover on the final Watertown drive.
