Monday Essentials: Melrose Man to Host Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Here is a sampling of five things going on in the Melrose area between Nov. 25-Dec. 1:

1. Melrose resident Scott Macaulay will be hosting his 28th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28 at the First Baptist Church. Reservations must be made by Monday, Nov. 25 by calling 781-662-7235.

2. The Melrose-Wakefield Thanksgiving Day football game is set for 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28 at Fred Green Field in Melrose.

3. The Melrose School Committee meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 in the Aldermanic Chamber at City Hall, according to the agenda posted on the city website.

4. The Melrose High School Class of 1988's 25th reunion is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29 at Absolutely Fabulous, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch.

5. The Melrose High School Class of 1993's 20th reunion is slated for 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Spinelli's in Peabody, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch.
