Obituary for Francis C. 'Bud' McNeil

Francis C. "Bud" McNeil passed away in Medford on June 20, 2013.He was 92 years of age.

Bud was born in Everett, raised in Everett and attended Everett schools. He moved to Melrose in 1963 and has been a longtime resident. Mr. McNeil was a gentle and kind person who was loved by all that knew him. He enjoyed taking long walks and spending time on the ocean in Scituate, Massachusetts.

Bud was the son of the late James T. & Mary J. (Dawson) McNeil. Brother of James T. McNeil DMD & his late wife Helen of Melrose and the late John J. McNeil MD. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.

Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tuesday, June 25th, at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation Church, 425 Upham St. Melrose at 11:15 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment at Glenwood Cemetery in Everett. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cooperative Human Services Inc., 420 Bedford St..
