Saugus Man Killed In I-95 Crash
The three-car crash shut down the highway in Newburyport for two hours.
NEWBURYPORT, MA — A 48-year-old Saugus man was killed in a three-car crash on I-95 North Tuesday afternoon.
State police said the Saugus man was driving when his Hyundai struck the back of a Ford Transit van being driven by a 28-year-old Beverly man. Police said the Hyundai's speed is believed to have been a factor.
The van rolled over and the Hyundai crossed over into the southbound lanes, where it struck a truck driven by a 61-year-old man from Maine.

The Saugus man died at Anna Jacques Hospital.
The Maine man suffered minor injuries and the Beverly man was not injured.
