The Week Ahead: School Starts, Yoga, And Flick 'N Float

Here's some of what's happening in Melrose this week:

  • The first day of school for Melrose Public School children entering grades 1 through 9 is Tuesday, Aug. 31. Students in grades 10 through 12 will report for the first time on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

  • International Yoga Asana Champion Brandy Winfield is visiting the Melrose Y for a children's class and yoga demonstration for children ages 7-15 on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
