Top Melrose Schools Admin Up For Westford Superintendent Position
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Margaret Adams is one of four finalists to replace Superintendent Bill Olsen in Westford.

MELROSE, MA — Margaret Adams, Melrose Public Schools' assistant superintendent for teaching and learning, is a finalist to become Westford's next superintendent.
The Westford School Committee announced it has gotten to four finalists to replace Superintendent Bill Olsen, who will be retiring at the end of the school year.
Adams has been in her position in Melrose for the past eight years. She previously worked in Malden and Brockton school districts.

Stony Brook (Westford) Principal Cristopher Chew, Arlington High Principal Matthew Janger and Executive Vice President of Client Services of the New York City Leadership Academy Michele Shannon are the other finalists.
The School Committee will vote March 17. Adams is scheduled to interview with members Thursday night.
