Colarusso has joined longshot Republican challengers in other races in calling for debates ahead of the election. In Clark's hometown of Melrose last month, Colarusso said the congresswoman has put Massachusetts "in the rearview mirror, and she's driving away."
Clark, the second-highest ranking woman in the House, has announced her intentions to run for assistant speaker.
