Vandals Target Vietnam Veterans Memorial: Melrose Police Log
The following are excerpts from the Melrose police log for the week beginning May 3.

MELROSE, MA —There have been at least two incidents in the past month where flowers were pulled from the Vietnam Veterans memorial at the Melrose Knoll.
The Department of Public Works was notified a couple of weeks ago that some flowers were missing from the site. The plants were replaced but removed less than a week later.
The DPW filed a police report. Police Chief Mike Lyle said some sprinkler pipes were also pulled from the monument.
