Video: Chanukah Sameach! Temple Beth Shalom Celebrates Hanukkah

On Thursday night, the second night of Hanukkah, students from school gathered in the temple to light the menorah. After singing the blessing and students reading the blessing's translation in English, they were treated to a humorous and poignant story told by storyteller Bruce Marcus and a sing-along by temple Cantorial Soloist Beth Purcell. All the while, temple members were busy cooking latkes for Temple Beth Shalom's Hanukkah party—open to all—that will take place after the lighting of Main Street on Friday night.
