Where to Expect Traffic Delays In Melrose The Week of June 8
Road work in various areas in Melrose may slow down traffic on certain roads.

As was the case during the week of June 6, certain streets in Melrose may be less-than-optimal options for motorists looking to reach a destination as quickly as possible, due to a handful of road construction projects.
Via a blog post, the city once again let residents know where and when to expect delays and detours.
Tuesday, June 9/Wednesday June 10: Traffic delays on Washington Street between Trenton and Stone Place due to structure adjustments in advance of final paving. Detours will be avoided to the extent possible.

Thursday, June 11: Paving for the bit of Washington Street between Stone Place, Trenton Street will likely cause detours. Beech Avenue between Swains Pond Avenue and Wheeler Avenue will undergo an initial round of paving, and minor construction on Franklin Street should be expected.
