Whole Foods Market to Host Fundraiser for Melrose High School Band

Here is a sampling of five things going on between Monday, Jan. 13 and Sunday, Jan. 19 in Melrose:

1. Whole Foods Market, 880 Main St., will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Melrose High School Band starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch. Five percent of all sales will go toward the purchase of new band equipment.

2. The Melrose Board of Aldermen will have an organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13 in the Aldermanic Chamber at City Hall, according to an agenda posted on the city website.

3. The Melrose School Committee meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 in the Aldermanic Chamber at City Hall, according to an agenda posted on the city website.

4. The Melrose Park Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 at the Mt. Hood Clubhouse, according to an agenda posted on the city website.

5. The Melrose Historical Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 in the Genealogy Room at Melrose Public Library, according to an agenda on the city website.
