Community Celebration For MLK Day

Multiple organizations will come together Monday to host a brief community event and service project following the celebration.

NATICK, MA- Folks at Natick Public Schools aren't letting the impending storm slow down their plans to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday.

The district tweeted a photo with donation boxes full from schools participating in the upcoming event.

On Monday, Wilson Middle School will host Community Celebration in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event is hosted by the Interfaith Clergy of Natick, Natick METCO Program, Natick Public Schools, Natick is UNITED, Natick Together for Youth (NTY) and SPARK Kindness. It is open to the community and will inform people how King's legacy continues to inspire and empower us all. A service project will following the celebration.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
