Driver Arrested After Hitting Utility Pole on North Main Street

The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Wednesday, June 5

3:02 p.m.: An officer stopped at Roche Bros to speak with two suspicious individuals. Mark MacNeil, 38, of 10 Middle St., Blackstone was arrested on warrant charges out of Uxbridge District Court, Taunton District Court and Westborough District Court.

8:16 p.m.: A caller reported a car crash on North Main Street. The incident commander reported that one injured person refused medical treatment. The road was temporarily shut down due to a utility pole causing a road hazard. Animesh Goswami, 42, of 90 Worcester Rd., Apt. 151, Framingham was arrested and charged with drunken-driving, negligent operation, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
