Come One, Come All to the annual Natick Garden Club Plant Auction! It will be held at the Natick Community/Senior Center, 117 East Central Street in Natick, on Thursday, May 21, 2015 beginning at 6:30 PM.
This evening of enjoyment features brisk bidding for plants that have been proven to grow successfully in our sometimes challenging weather conditions. Most of the plants are perennials from our membersβ gardens, and are labelled for bloom time and season, height, spacing needed, and sun and moisture requirements. We will also have vegetable and herb seedlings and annuals donated by local garden centers. Compared to plant retailers, the prices are a bargain. This is an easy way to start or enhance your own garden with vigorous plants for years of summer enjoyment.
There will be a variety of door prizes raffled off during the evening. In years past these have included large hanging baskets, small rose bushes, specimen plants, gardening hand tools and hand care items. Please come, enjoy the fun, meet a friendly group of garden enthusiasts, and help us raise funds for our next yearβs programs.
