High Winds Wreak Havoc Across Natick
Two homes had trees fall on them and a piece of copper from a church steeple was ripped almost entirely off by the wind.
NATICK, MA- High winds knocked a tree down onto a home on Ledge Lane in Natick on Monday.
Several outlets reported that no one was inside when the pine tree came down but the home did suffer severe damage.

Another home on Oxford Road had fire crews on scene according to the police department. A tree fell on that home as well, it is unknown if any residents were inside.

St. Patrick's Church on East Central Street had police surrounding the are after a large piece of copper came loose from the steeple. "It was just flapping in the wind," the fire department said.
High winds have taken down a number of trees and power lines in the MetroWest with 99 reported power outages in Natick at 8 p.m. according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management System. Wind speeds ranging from 46 mph to nearly 60 mph have been reported across the state this morning. The National Weather Service says the strongest winds are expected this afternoon.

Eversource took to Twitter to remind customers not to touch downed wires and report the incident to both police and the utility company.
