How To Get Help Shoveling Snow In Natick
The city has a service to connect people with snow shovelers. You can also volunteer to shovel snow for your neighbors.
NATICK, MA β If you're struggling to shovel out from the first major snowstorm of the 2019-2020 season, there's help available. Through the Natick town website, local residents can request help moving snow off sidewalks and driveways.
To get help shoveling, visit the snow shoveling assistance web page. You can also use this portal to sign up to volunteer as a snow-shoveler.
The Natick Fire Department is also asking local residents to help out firefighters by shoveling out hydrants. There are some 1,400 hydrants across the town, and any one of them might need to be used during a snowstorm. If you shovel out a hydrant, post a photo on social media and use the hashtag #Natick or #Adoptahydrant to let the department know about your work.

Help @NatickFire and your neighbors by adopting a fire hydrant. Natick has over 1,400 fire hydrants. We hope we don't need them, but it would be a big help if they are dug out beforehand. Post photos of your dug out hydrant with #Natick #Adoptahydrant to show off your hard work!
