Hundreds Of Natick High Students Walk Out Over Coronavirus
Two students with COVID-19 attend the school, but have been in quarantine. Some students want school closed.

NATICK, MA β Over 300 Natick High School students walked out of school Thursday to protest the school district's response to coronavirus. Two students are presumed to have COVID-19 after their parent came down with the virus recently.
The high school students walked to Natick Town Hall during the protest to confront top school officials. The students said they don't feel safe staying in school as coronavirus spreads, according to videos of the protest posted on social media.
Natick Superintendent Anna Nolin has not called off school as other districts have. The high school received a deep cleaning on Sunday night, and other activities have been called off.

Gov. Charlie Baker has declared a state of emergency over COVID-19. Part of that declaration involves allowing school districts cancel school without end-of-year penalties.
The Natick Select Board, School Committee, and Board of Health are planning to hold a joint meeting on Thursday night to discuss the COVID-19 outbreak.
