James “Jim” Glynn, Limo And Box Truck Driver, Dies At 84

NATICK, MA—James “Jim” M. Glynn, age 84, of Natick, died on Monday, June 26, 2017. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Martin & Marguerite (Briant) Glynn. Jim grew up in Natick and was a graduate of Natick High School, Class of 1952. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Natick in the parts department for many years.

Jim was a limousine driver for various limousine companies and for Continental Air on Cape Cod, driving box trucks. He was an avid golfer, loved the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and playing pool. Jim was the loving companion of Gloria McLaughlin of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; loving father of Mary Katherine Mansfield & her husband Edward of Northbridge; dear brother of Dorothy Terhune & her husband Russ of Framingham and the late Alice "Honey" Hine and Marge & Orville Oldfield; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was beloved husband of the late Lois (Higby) Glynn and former husband of Patricia (Nichols) Heath of Uxbridge.

Memorial visiting hours at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, NATICK COMMON, on Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 12:45 PM. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's memory may be made to The Salvation Army, Attention: Development Department, 25 Shawmut Road, Canton, MA 02021.
