July 4 In January: Fundraiser For Natick Celebration Coming Up
With nasty winter weather, it's not too early to think about summer. Natick's July 4 parade organizers are hosting a fundraiser soon.
NATICK, MA β It's snowy and icy out, and July 4 is still about 200 days away, but organizers of Natick's annual Independence Day parade are already making plans for the 2020 holiday celebration.
On the very appropriate date of Jan. 4, the Natick Friends of the 4th nonprofit group will host a casino night at the Natick Elks Lodge. All proceeds will go to the 65th annual Natick July 4 parade in 2020.
Natick's annual July 4 celebration usually features several days of events, kicking off with a children's parade, and culminating in an Independence Day parade along Route 27. Last year's parade, the 64th in town history, had the theme of "celebrating Natick's diversity."
