Lieutenant With Natick Fire Department Dies

A Natick firefighter passed away recently.

NATICK, MAβ€”The Natick Fire Department announced the passing of one of its own, stating, "Rest easy, brother. We'll take it from here."

Lt. Samuel "Sammy" Crisafulli passed away on Sunday morning at the hospital at age 63 after a battle with cancer.

"It will be a full firefighter funeral," Chief Michael Lentini told Patch.

"Lt. Crisafulli was a larger than life member of the department and his presence will be sorely missed," wrote Natick FD. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.Rest easy, brother."

Visiting hours are Friday, Nov. 2, from 4-8 p.m. at Everett and Sons Funeral Home. A funeral mass is being held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at noon in St. Patrick's Church in Natick.
