Little Lola's In South Natick 'Excited' To Close
The owners say there's a good reason why the seven-year-old Italian eatery is closing its doors.
NATICK, MA β It's typically a sad affair when a local business shuts down. But not for the owners of Lola's Italian Kitchen & Market.
On Wednesday afternoon, the owners announced the "great news" that the Eliot Street Little Lola's eatery in South Natick would close. The owners have to move out of the space because it's not big enough, and the restaurant is on the hunt for bigger digs.
"Our insurance agency could no longer insure the establishment as a restaurant due to the small size," the Facebook post said. "In order to stay open we would have had to downgrade our menu and items which would have made it very difficult to keep open. Luckily with the help of our very gracious landlords we were able to get out of the space."

Lola's Italian Kitchen & Market opened its downtown Natick location in 2003 serving Italian favorites and take-home dinners. Owner Anthony Matarazzo opened Little Lola's in November 2013, taking over the space that used to house Corrado's South.
The owners say they will open the bigger location sometime in 2021, and are taking suggestions from the public.
