MA Power Outages: Natick With 1,000+ In The Dark
Winds and rain are causing a bit of havoc in Natick, knocking out power for several hundred.

NATICK, MAβSeveral thousand were without power by 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, the nor'easter's winds and rain knocking it out in several pockets of towns and cities, particularly southeast Massachusetts and along the coast. It continues into the evening.
Of the 17,184 Eversource customers in Natick, 1,093 were without power Saturday afternoon, representing six percent of the customers. Eversource does not list restore times.
Barnstable County has a flash flood watch until 6 p.m., a high wind warning until 6 p.m., and a coastal flood advisory on Saturday, per the National Weather Service. Winds in these areas could hit 50 mph from midday through the evening.

Strong winds, said NWS, may blow down limbs, trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected to continue (check your local Patch for updates on any outages).
