Markey Wins Sixty Percent of Natick Vote

The democrat took home more than 4,500 Natick votes in the special Senate Election.

With nearly 8,000 voters heading to the polls, Natick picked Democrat Ed Markey over Republican Gabriel GomezΒ in the special Senate election.

Markey won 4,666 votes, or 60 percent of the total in Natick, compared to Gomez's 3,051. Richard Heos got 26 votes from Natick residents.

Thirty-Four percent of registered voters in Natick cast a ballot yesterday.

Markey's win in Natick and many other towns across the commonwealth were enough to carry him to victory.Β The race was called in favor of Ed Markey just after 9 p.m.
