MetroWest Receives Donation From MathWorks
MathWorks donation will provide free educational programs to more than 600 MetroWest organizations in fundraising and leadership training.

From The Fundation for MetroWest: The Foundation for MetroWest is proud to announce a generous gift from Natick-based MathWorks to increase the Center for Philanthropy Educationβs 2017 program offerings.
The Center for Philanthropy Education provides free educational programming to the more than 600 MetroWest nonprofit organizations in the areas of fundraising, board governance, communications, and Executive Director leadership training. These programs provide nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers with professional development opportunities to help them advance their organizationsβ missions and successfully address the critical unmet needs throughout MetroWest.
βThis new partnership with MathWorks is a benefit to our MetroWest community,β says Judith Salerno, Executive Director of the Foundation for MetroWest. βNonprofits are at their most effective when they have high-functioning, skilled staff and boards who are able to engage the community in their mission. This new partnership with MathWorks will help us achieve this goal of strengthening our community through strengthening the nonprofits within it.β

The Foundation for MetroWest extend access to education programs that help nonprofits learn how to raise their profile, gather funds, and build a strong leadership team. We are also excited to offer our staff members, many of whom are actively involved in various nonprofits, a Philanthropic Literacy Workshop run by The Foundation for MetroWest to empower their engagement in the community.β
