More Than 3,000 Without Power In Natick: UPDATE
Natick is among the many communities hit across the state.
NATICK, MA—An especially heavy snow in this newest nor'easter has caused power problems for multiple communities across the state, including Natick.
By 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, 3,077 of the 17,231 were affected in Natick, marking 18 percent of the customers in town, according to Eversource. This jumped more than 1,500 more than those without power at 6 a.m.
More than 110,000 power customers were in the dark as of 1 a.m.., according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. Patch will be updating power outages throughout Thursday, so check back often. Southern Worcester County and the Merrimack Valley are seeing the worst of it.
