Natick Adds Pay-By-App Option For Downtown Parking
The Passport Parking app will be an additional option on top of traditional ways of paying to park, according to Natick police.

NATICK, MA β You may never have to touch a parking meter in Natick again.
The town is now allowing drivers to pay for parking with the Passport Parking smartphone app. Drivers can enter payment information and a license plate number in the app, and just walk away, according to police.
"Passportβs technology is widely used in the Massachusetts area and the app is extremely user-friendly," Chief James Hicks said in a news release. "With this partnership, we can take the steps to future proof our operations and our residents and visitors can safely and conveniently manage their parking wherever they are in the town."

Nearby, Wellesley, Cambridge and Boston allow drivers to pay with the app. It's available free for Apple and Google smartphones.
Natick's traditional parking meters will remain in place, according to police. You have to pay to park in the downtown area between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Parking is free on Sundays. You can see Natick's parking map here.
