Natick Anti-Racist Group Hosting 2021 Candidate Forums

The youth-led R.I.S.E. Natick group will speak to Select Board and School Committee candidates this week.

NATICK, MA β€” The anti-racist youth group R.I.S.E. Natick will host two candidate forums this week ahead of the town's March election.

The forums will focus on asking candidate for Select Board and School Committee questions about racial justice. The Wednesday Select Board forum will feature candidates Guimel DeCarvalho and Paul Joseph, who are competing for an open seat. Select Board Chair Jonathan Freedman is not seeking reelection in 2021.

The School Committee forum follows on Thursday featuring incumbents Shai Fuxman and Matt Brand, and challenger Catherine Brunell.

Register for the Select Board forum here, and the School Committee forum here. Both forums begin at 7 p.m. and will be held virtually.
