NATICK, MA β€” Natick school officials have canceled classes and activities for Dec. 3 due to a messy, two-day snowstorm sweeping through the region. Forecasters are predicting an especially messy Tuesday morning commute in the area between Worcester and Boston.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the MetroWest area. The warning lasts through noon on Tuesday, and says that between 4 and 10 inches of new snow could fall across the area.

But students should expect to return to school on Wednesday. It's going to be sunny with highs in the upper 30s β€” and it will stay that way until at least Friday, according to forecasts.
