Natick Delays Trash Collection Due To Nor'easter
Up to 12 inches of snow may fall on Natick during a storm set to begin Wednesday night.

NATICK, MA β An approaching Nor'easter is already causing cancellations across the region, including in Natick.
The Department of Public Works on Tuesday announced that Thursday and Friday trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day each due to the storm. If your collection happens Thursday, it will happen on Friday instead, and Friday collection will happen on Saturday, according to the DPW.
The impending storm is the first major weekday snow event in more than a year. The last time significant snow fell in Natick was on Dec. 2, 2019.

According to the National Weather Service, this week's storm will begin Wednesday night and continue through Thursday afternoon. The storm will also bring high winds to the region, meaning there's a chance of power outages.
The region could see as much as 12 inches by the time the storm is done, but snow totals have varied by forecast in recent days. Natick will be under a winter storm watch beginning Wednesday night, according to the weather service.
