Natick To Extend Recycling Center Hours For Yard Waste
Natick has cancelled yard waste collection this spring due, but new hours at the recycling center may make up for that.
NATICK, MA β Starting Thursday, Natick's recycling center will extend its operating hours, a measure meant to make up for a coronavirus-related cancellation of curbside yard waste pickup.
The recycling center, located at West Street and Route 27, will be open 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday to Sunday. The center usually closes at noon on weekdays. The recycling center accepts a huge variety of items, including yard waste and some hazardous waste like motor oil and paint.
Regular trash and recycling collection in Natick will continue as normal during the coronavirus crisis. Simple Recycling, a town vendor that collects household items in pink bags, is not operating during the coronavirus state of emergency.
