Natick To Light It Up Blue For Autism Awareness
Natick's Crossroads school joins a national effort this weekend.

NATICK, MA β On Sunday, April 2, Crossroads School is joining the global βLight it Up Blueβ campaign to promote awareness and acceptance of autism.
In 2007, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day to shine a light on autism as a growing public health priority, according to the release. Every year, people around the world light up their homes and businesses to raise awareness for autism.
Crossroads families and staff will gather at Crossroads School in Natick for a βLight it Up Blue-B-Qβ and a special lighting ceremony. Following remarks given by Dr. Anthony Cammilleri, president and CEO, a student will flip the switch on a blue spotlight that will shine a blue beam of light up into the skies over Natick and visible from 5-10 miles away.
