The state is planning to expand vaccine availability to more groups in phase two, including front-line workers like teachers and grocery store works; people over age 65; and people who have two or more special medical conditions. The state has not announced when those groups will be eligible for inoculations.

Baker said Wednesday the state will open 100,000 vaccine appointments for sites across Massachusetts at sites run by the state and by private companies like CVS and Big Y. The state has several mass vaccine sites open now, including ones at Gillette Stadium and Fenway Park, and one set to open at Worcester State University on Feb. 16.
