Natick Woman's Capitol Riot Case Delayed Over Investigation Scope
Federal prosecutors expect to charge 400 people after the Capitol riot, calling it one of the biggest cases "in American history."

NATICK, MA β A Natick woman charged in connection to the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot has had her case pushed back by two months due to the enormity of the investigation, according to federal prosecutors.
Suzanne Ianni, an elected Town Meeting member, was arrested by the FBI in January and charged at federal court in Boston with disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds and knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building without lawful authority, according to prosecutors.
Since then, Ianni's case has been transferred to federal court in Washington. On Thursday, federal prosecutors asked a judge to postpone back Ianni's next court appearance until at least May 28. Prosecutors said in court filings they are prioritizing court appearances by defendants being held in jail. Ianni was released after her first court appearance.

"Over 300 individuals have been charged in connection with the Capitol Attack. The investigation continues and the government expects that at least 100 additional individuals will be charged."
