Natick's Common CafΓ© Closes Due To Coronavirus
"We tried hard but could not survive the epidemic," the downtown Natick restaurant announced.

NATICK, MA β The venerable downtown Natick Common CafΓ© announced Wednesday night that it would close for good. The coronavirus took too much of a toll on the business, the restaurant said.
The restaurant announced on Facebook that it "could not survive the epidemic."
"It saddens us greatly to announce the closing of the Common CafΓ©," the post said. "We appreciate all of our customers and your support. We'll truly miss you all."

The Common CafΓ© opened in December 2016 at the corner of Pond and Main streets. The restaurant served Persian and Mediterranean dishes, and hosted music and arts events.
The closure comes just as Massachusetts enters phase 2 of reopening. Restaurants are being allowed to open outdoor dining space for sit-down service for the first time since March. Common CafΓ© had been offering takeout during reduced hours throughout the statewide coronavirus lockdown.
