Photos: Nor'Easter Wallops Region, Thousands Lose Power
See reader-submitted photos of damage caused by the nor'easter that hit the region on Wednesday and Thursday.

NATICK, MA β From a fishing boat pushed up onto a dock in Salem to an apartment building thrashed by a tree in Framingham, the region was walloped by a nor'easter on Wednesday and Thursday, causing widespread damage and power outages.
At the peak on Thursday morning, there were over 220,000 people across Massachusetts without power, according to the state Emergency Management Agency. That included over 1,000 people in Wayland and 1,200 in Sudbury. Other communities like Marlborough and Natick were spared such large outages.
Meanwhile, more than 2,000 people went without power in Framingham and Ashland for much of the day on Thursday β but it wasn't related to the storm. A semi's trailer rolled over along Route 126, pulling power lines down across the busy road. Utility crews had to shut off the entire grid in the area to allow the driver to get out safely, and to make repairs. But no one was hurt.
