Pleasant Street: What's in a Name?
Two different Pleasant Streets in the same town causes some confusion, but would you want to change your address if your street name got changed?

For the second time in as many months Natick Selectmen will be discussing the problems that are created when two streets in town have the same name.
Residents ofΒ Pleasant Street, located near the intersection of Route 9 and Route 27, often get their mail confused with residents of Pleasant Street, in South Natick near the Sherborn town line.
Earlier in June the Selectmen held their first public hearing for the renaming of the Pleasant Streets. At that meeting they also discussed the two Lincoln Streets; renaming one South Lincoln Street and leaving the name of the other as Lincoln Street.
