Schedule of Events for Memorial Day in Natick

Memorial Day is this coming Monday, May 27, this year, and there are several events planned in the town of Natick.

First, of note, tomorrow people will be decorating veterans' graves with geraniums. People will meet up at Old Dell Park on Pond St. at 8:30 a.m.

Here is the schedule of events for Monday:

8:30 a.m. The parade forms at Moran Park.

8:45 a.m. Flag rising at Moran Park.

9 a.m. The parade marches to the Town Common.

9:15 a.m. Memorial Day Ceremony at the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial on the Town Common.

10 a.m. The parade resumes and marches to cemeteries for memorial services. It will go from E. Central St. to W. Central St. to Forest St. to Pond St. It will stop at Old Dell Cemetery and Saint Patrick's Cemetery.

11 a.m. The parade will then go to Indian Burial Grounds for a memorial service.

11:15 a.m. There will be a memorial service at Indian Burial Grounds.

11:30 a.m. The parade will disband at Indian Burial Grounds and there will be a collation at American Legion Post #107.
