South Main Construction In Natick Ramps Up In April
Starting Monday, crews will begin preparing to remove a stretch of South Main Street starting at Cottage Avenue.

NATICK, MA β Drivers, bikers and pedestrians in Natick will soon encounter a lot of construction activity along South Main Street (Route 27) as crews prepare to pulverize and repave a half-mile stretch of roadway.
Beginning Monday, construction crews will start lowering manholes and catch basins from Cottage Street south to Elmwood Avenue going toward Sherborn. That work will leave gravel patches along the roadway.
But the real work starts the week of April 19 when crews will begin pulverizing the roadway, according to the public works department. The first layer of pavement will be put down on April 23 β although all the work is weather-dependent.
