Star-Studded Cast Films 'I Care a Lot' In Natick

NATICK, MA — Natick's downtown was transformed into a movie set on Tuesday and Wednesday. Crews for the film, "I Care a Lot" set up in several locations downtown. The movie features Academy Award nominated actress Rosamund Pike from Gone Girl, along with Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage.

Most of the filming happened on Tuesday in the police station, and around the back portion of the station, South Avenue and around the record store. The movie seems to be making it's rounds through the Commonwealth and was spotted filming in an orthodontist office in Wellesley on Monday.

According to IMDb, the film is about a legal guardian who discovers that her seemingly perfect client is not who they appear to be.

Deputy Town Administrator John Townsend said crews chose Natick to film because they liked the look. "They said it was a quintessential New England looking town," Townsend said. Most of the filming was done indoors, but Townsend said he caught a glimpse or two of Peter Dinklage in the street.

Townsend said filming happened on Tuesday and the breakdown of the set was saved for Wednesday. Crews might be back at the end of August. For now, the film will continue hopping around the state, possibly to Newton next.

Natick is no stranger to film crews, just last month Captain America Star Christ Evans was caught filming in the Town Common. Evans was also bouncing around the suburbs of Massachusetts for his new show, Defending Jacob.
