Tickets Still Available For 11th Annual Flutie Bowl at Kings

Join local sports hero and former New England Patriots quarterback Doug Flutie, along with personalities from New England’s most beloved sports teams, local radio, and television, at the 11th annual Flutie Bowl on Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at KINGS, located in Legacy Place in Dedham.

Since its inception, Flutie Bowl has raised more than $600,000 for The Doug Flutie, Jr., Foundation for Autism, which provides services and supports to local children and families living with autism. 

All proceeds will benefit the Framingham-based Foundation, a charity that Doug and his wife, Laurie, established in honor of their son Doug, Jr., who was diagnosed with autism at age 3. 

Before doors open at 6 p.m. for the celebrity bowling tournament, 14 families of children with autism have been chosen to come and bowl (3:30 to 5 p.m.) for free. During that time the venue will create an autism-friendly environment.

Once the family bowling is complete, the celebrity bowling tournament will begin. Celebrity bowlers will be paired with corporate teams from Mazda, Eastern Bank, Instaflex, Irving Oil, Ocean Spray, and Sam Adams Beer. 

The 11th annual Flutie Bowl will also feature exciting raffles and silent auction items including, authentic autographed sports memorabilia, weekend getaways, spa services and several other one-of-a-kind items. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as a special performance by the Flutie Brother’s Band featuring Doug Flutie on the drums.
