The seemingly never-ending winter will continue for at least another few days as two minor winter storms are expected to bring more snow to Massachusetts.
The first storm will start early Tuesday evening as snow. The precipitation will change to freezing rain and rain overnight. Only 2-3 inches of snow is expected at most before changing to freezing rain and rain, said the National Weather Service.

Freezing rain could be an issue during the Wednesday morning commute.
The rain may continue into Wednesday, which should see highs in the 40s and mostly cloudy skies. Most if not all of the snow that will fall from the storm will melt by the end of the day Wednesday.

The next round of snow is expected late Wednesday night and into early Thursday morning. That is expected to be another minor storm with the South Shore possibly getting a couple of inches while Northern Massachusetts may see very little snow.
Once we get through these two minor storms, Friday is expected to be sunny with highs in the 20s.
Then, we turn ahead the clocks on the weekend.
In other words, hang in there. Weβre inching closer to spring.
