52 Percent Of Needham Residents Received At Least 1 Vaccine Dose

NEEDHAM, MA — More than 2,300 of Needham's oldest residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state’s data. Roughly 32 percent of Needham residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, up from 28 percent last week.

Roughly 20 percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. About three in four residents ages 65 to 74 are fully vaccinated, and 27 percent in that age group have received just their first dose.

Needham reported 75 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "yellow" zone.
