On April 12, 2013, Needham Community Council and Domestic Violence Action Committee (DVAC) hosted a fashion show to raise money and awareness for domestic violence in the Needham community.
We want to thank the some 250 people who attended the event, held at the Powerβs Hall in Needham. The money raised will be reinvested into programs supported by the DVAC, as well as the Child Assault Project (CAP).
The Needham Domestic Violence Action Committee meets monthly and is a community-based interagency and interdisciplinary team formed to raise awareness of domestic violence.
