Boston Magazine School Rankings: See Where Needham Finished

NEEDHAM, MA — Boston Magazine has released their rankings of the best public high schools.

Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Needham finished 29th out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.

Who did the best according to Boston Magazine? Acton-Boxborough Regional high school came in at number one. Here's how Needham's neighboring communities ranked:

• Wellesley High School ranked No. 12
• Newton South High School ranked No. 16
• Newton North High School ranked No. 25
• Dover-Sherborn Regional High School ranked No. 9
