Chinese Friends Of Needham Making Stop Asian Hate Lawn Signs
The non-profit is encouraging businesses and residents to display the signs on their property to show solidarity with the Asian community.
NEEDHAM, MA β In light of the killings in Georgia last week that left eight people dead, including six Asian women, communities across the country are showing solidarity with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander community, including in Needham.
Chinese Friends of Needham, a local non-profit founded in 2010 to promote education of Chinese language, culture, and heritage through building a vibrant Chinese-American community in and around Needham. The organization is offering lawn signs to residents and businesses in the community.
The signs say #StopAsianHate, a hashtag that gained popularity with the rise in reported anti-Asian hate in the country during the coronavirus pandemic. The signs are 18 by 24 inches with a 10 by 15 inch wire stake stand. The yard sign is free and CFN is accepting optional donations.
