Donate To The Lunch Equity Project To Help Hungry Needham Children
While government funding has provided free lunches to all students this year, there are still hungry children in our schools and community.
May 10, 2021
The number of children enrolled in the Needham Food Bank has more than doubled since 2019. While government funding has provided free lunches to all students this year, there are still hungry children in our schools and community. Through the Lunch Equity Project, families can donate the money theyβve saved on school lunches to those most in need. 100% of proceeds will be split evenly between the Needham Community Council and the Needham Community Farm specifically to fund their food donation efforts, which provide fresh produce and sustaining staples safely and respectfully to our hungry Needham neighbors.
