Drugged Driving, Vandalism: Needham Police Log
The following is from the Needham Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

August 9
11:15 a.m. - An officer was dispatched to a Fremont Street business for report of a disturbance in the past between two employees. Both involved parties were interviewed and additional evidence was collected. The incident is still under investigation.
August 10

A Blacksmith Drive resident came to the police station to report that an individual attempted to open a credit account using his identity. The attempt was blocked by LifeLock.
A Horace Street resident reported missing jewelry from her home. There are no suspects at this time. She has contacted the police and her homeownerβs insurance company.

1:10 p.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Marked Tree Road for an equipment violation. As a result, a 34-year-old Kevin Lackey of Brockton was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender, failure to inspect motor vehicle, and an equipment violation.
An officer observed a blue Ford Explorer parked in the parking lot of the TD Bank located at 95 Highland Ave. A check of the vehicle's status revealed that the plates did not belong on the Explorer and the registered owner had an active warrant. The owner, 47-year-old Cyria Lewis of Stratham, New Hampshire was arrested on a warrant for uttering a false check and larceny under $1,200. She was also issued a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, and attaching plates.
August 11
12:44 a.m. - Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 2nd and Highland avenues for erratic operation. During the investigation, officers formed the opinion that the operator was under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and a different intoxicating substance. Based on the investigation, 40-year-old Timi Solomon of Boston was placed under arrest and charged with drunken driving and drugged driving.
August 12
An officer responded to a Pershing Street address to perform a well-being check on a resident who may have been involved in a motor vehicle crash in a different jurisdiction. The vehicle operator was located and found them to be in good health. As a result of check the operator of the vehicle was issued a summons to appear to court by the jurisdiction in which the crash took place.
A Needham man was arrested on a probation warrant.
3:02 p.m. - An officer responded to a Highland Avenue business for a report of possible vandalism. The matter is currently under investigation internally through the business.
7:32 p.m. - An officer responded to a Howe Road residence for the report of a past larceny of a bicycle. After speaking with the victim it was determined that the bicycle was stolen two days earlier. There are no suspects that this time.
August 13
9:00 a.m. - An officer stopped a motor vehicle on 2nd Avenue. The registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended license. The operator, a 43-year-old Everett man, was issued a summons for operating with a suspended license.
