Needham Exchange Club Announces Plans for the Fourth of July

The Exchange Club of Needham is pleased to announce that the 4th of July Parade will take place on the morning of July 5th at 9:00 am. We regret that there will not be a 4th of July Fireworks display this year.

After thoughtful consideration, The Exchange Club of Needham and the Town of Needham have mutually agreed to postpone our traditional July 4th fireworks display until July 2022. A successful event requires months of planning, fundraising, and coordination. Due to the shortened time frame leading up to this year’s celebration caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have agreed to focus our collective efforts on the 2021 parade and are eagerly looking forward to bringing fireworks back to Needham in 2022.

Community floats / organizations are greatly encouraged to participate in the Parade. Additionally, the Exchange Club will be holding the Second Annual Patriotic House Decorating Contest, as well as constructing Field of Flags at Memorial Park and other locations in town.
