Four Needham Businesses Make Inc. 5000

A handful of local businesses have been named among the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the country by Inc. magazine.

The Inc. 5000, an annual list of the top 5000 fastest-growing companies in the country, featured four businesses from Needham in its 2013 list: Get in Shape for Women, Coretelligent, Acceleration Partners, and Syrinx Consulting.
 
Coming in at #3460 out of 5000, Syrinx Consulting, a software development and consulting firm which, according to its website, has developed programs businesses in the financial services, call center, real estate, publishing, health care, and biosciences industries, among others.

Placing #2200, Coretelligent, an IT company whose website says it's "reshaping the concept out outsourced IT." The company focuses on a range of industries, from financial and legal services to health care and pharmaceuticals.

Get in Shape for Women ranked #1414 on the 2013 list. The locally-based gym chain has 94 locations across 17 states. When it started in 2006, founder Brian Cook wanted to create a fitness program for women with a variety of exercise activities, according to the website.

Ranking #359, Acceleration Partners, a digital marketing firm which has grown from 2 people to 15 in the last three years, and shot up from $250,000 annual revenue to more than $3.3 million in 2012.
