Needham Farmers Market Celebrates Harvest Time

Celebrate harvest time at Needham Farmers Market and get your fill of locally grown produce every Sunday from noon to 4 pm.

Needham, MAβ€”Come to celebrate the Harvest Time at the Needham Farmers Market! An amazing assortment of locally grown apples, root vegetables, squashes, corn on the cob, garlic and greens to fill up your plate and keep you healthy as the chilly weather begins. Fun, friends, and Fall at the Needham Farmers Market this Sunday!

New at MacArthur Farm: Fall Mums in every color. Scrumptious squashes, cranberries from Carver, MA, cider from Carison Orchards, pumpkins, and large variety of apples for baking and snacking! MacArthur Farm will also return this week with potatoes, eggplant, green and red peppers, Chioggia beets, and multi-colored carrots. Try some fresh, organic broccoli, cauliflower, wax and green beans, pickling cucumbers, radishes, greens, various types of lettuce, rhubarb, herbs, zucchini, cousa, sugar snap and shell peas, carrots, scallions, golden and red beets and of course, sweet peaches, apples, various melons, local and Maine blueberries and Acres Honey. Now a favorite, MacArthur Farm is also offering delicious and fresh, baked the same day Framingham Baking Co. Italian and French bread and rolls that have no preservatives to go with your soups and stews.

Located behind the Needham Bank in Needham Center, the Needham Farmers Market is open on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. New at the Needham Farmers Market: You can now sign up to receive updates and text reminders from the Needham Farmers Market regarding market dates and times, special prices on produce and fish in season, lunch specials, and events happening weekly at the Market. You can receive these reminders by texting @needham to 81010.

Neighborhood Farm will have an assortment of apples and all of your favorites including new varieties of garlic, winter squash, sweet potatoes, spinach, mizuna, braising greens, bok choi, kohlrabi, sweet and hot peppers. Also, several types of potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes, tomatillos, kale, lettuces, leafy greens, beets, zucchini, pumpkins, squashes, carrots, and more!

Also, check out the NFM website at www.needhamfarmersmarket.org to sign up for the Market, just click on Sign Up and choose vendors, events, musicians or artists. The Needham Farmers Market is located behind Needham Bank in the Needham Center parking lot and is open Sundays from 12-4 pm.
